Prostate Cancer support groups

What: US TOO support meeting
Who: Men with prostate cancer and their spouses/partners/families
When: 6:30 pm, 4th Tuesday of each month (typically no meetings in June, July, or August)
Where: Whitney Senior Center in St. Cloud
Cost: None

Adult and Pediatric Urology is a proud supporter of US TOO International, Inc. US TOO is an independent network of support group chapters for men with prostate cancer and their families. Adult and Pediatric Urology holds an US TOO support meeting the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Whitney Senior Center in St. Cloud at 6:30 pm. Guest speakers are often invited and give informational talks on various aspects of prostate cancer including diagnosis, treatment, and quality of life issues. The group does not meet during the months of June, July, or August.

Light refreshments are provided. There is no cost for attendance. Spouses/partners are also invited.

Head to Toe Health Fair 2008

The Head to Toe Health Fair (H2T) is being presented and coordinated by St. Cloud Ear, Nose and Throat and Adult & Pediatric Urology. The Health Fair was developed with the following objectives in mind:

Provide a service to the community with free or reduced health screenings
Increase health awareness by providing health screenings, activities, materials, demonstrations, and information
Motivate participants to make positive health behavior changes
Increase awareness of local resources and demonstrate the ability to get comprehensive health care in St. Cloud

This year H2T is being held at the Crossroads Center on September 12 & 13 2008. Booths will be throughout the hallways. We are again anticipating more than 50 exhibitors with many presenting interactive booths. It's a great way to come see what Central Minnesota has to offer as well as a great place to take charge of your own health! Visit us at www.h2thealthfair.com.
